Take a look at what some of Llywelyn Ifan Jones' previous clients had to say about his services.

This tweet was in response to my performance at the House of Lords to celebrate the 80th birthday of Sir Ian McKellen organised by Lord Michael Cashman.

"Llywelyn commands the stage, the audience, and his instrument, embracing it with powerful arms and hands, and hurling the sound into the ether with a power and confidence that is not often associated with the harp, or its typical repertoire.
This is no demure tinkling. Expect to be drawn to the very edge of your seat by the commitment, warmth and fluency of his playing.
Though he is still so youthful, Llywelyn's unfaltering and courageous music making will grab you by the ears, and will not let you go until the last note dies away."

John Hardy (Composer to the music of BBC's Hinterland and Hidden)

"Llywelyn provided pre-match entertainment in the hospitality function at a National Football Cup Final in Newport. He accepted the invitation at the last minute and assisted us greatly. He was very friendly, prompt with communications and considered the audience to whom he entertained. He is an outstanding harpist and we would recommend him."

Andrew Howard (Football Association of Wales)

Llywelyn has performed for us several times and is a consumate professional. Can't fault him as a harpist or person come to that! One memorable event was at an event for the Welsh Rugby Team in the Senedd - the National Assembly for Wales building in Cardiff Bay, Wales. His music added such a special ambience to the occasion. He is a brilliant musician and very easy to work with. I hope to work with him again and really would like to hear him play in concert. Until then, best wishes Maestro!

Llywelyn played at our wedding in the beautiful location of Buckland Hall near Brecon. His music really added something special to our ceremony, reception and breakfast. He played such a variety of music from cherished classic, to comforting traditional tunes, to fabulous film soundtrack, to catchy pop songs and many jazz standards (I think he even did some really cool improvisations with the jazz). He was an incredible entertainer. He offered a reasonable fee for the all inclusive package which we opted for. Before hand he was very accommodating with our questions regarding song choice for the ceremony. He provided us with an extensive repertoire list however, he was willing to take any requests outside of the list which we did in the end and he performed them so wonderfully. I was tearing up as soon as I heard the harp play my procession music which was his own arrangement of Edelweiss from the Sound of Music. We chatted during the wedding and got know more about him. He's such a charming young man with great poise and well dressed. He had been to Germany twice that week to perform and our wedding was the third one of his weekend. He really is international and very much in demand so get him whilst you can. I felt so fortunate that we were able to book him so last minute. I feel so greatful for your music. Thank you so much for making our day even more special. I could definitely recommend him. Xxxx

The Choristers of St Davids Cathedral give an annual performance of Britten's Ceremony of Carols and Llywelyn has performed the work with us since 2015. He is very professional, a skillful, flexible and sensitive musician and we greatly enjoy performing with him.

"It was our wedding 1st October and We were honoured enough to have Llywelyn Ifan Jones play his Harp for our guests. Not only did he travel the 12 hour round trip without a grumble, he was uber professional throughout the day and blew us all away with his talent. He was open to suggestion with his playlist, ranging from traditional to modern songs with even Disney in between! I can not express how very impressed we were from start to finish. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!! Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect! Karen and Lee."

"I booked Llywelyn as a surprise for my sons wedding at Kilworth House. Initially he played out on the Terrace after the ceremony. He's choice of music was excellent and despite the wind, was well received and heard during the drinks reception and photographs. We moved into the Orangery for the wedding breakfast. Llewelyn went on to play all afternoon. He's Harp playing realy added that something special to what was a wonderful day. I left the choice of music to him, a great mixture of Classic, Modern, Rogers and Hammerstein, and Broadway Musicals. Many, many comments and compliments from everyone. He really was the perfect choice for backround music, presented professionaly with class and style. A delight to listen to."

We were lucky enough to have Llywelyn perform at our wedding. We were extremely impressed by his professionalism and his talent. His beautiful playing really made our ceremony amazing and his performance during the drinks reception afterwards has been commented on by lots of our guests. We would highly recommend him to anybody considering a harpist for a special occasion. Many thanks again Llywelyn and all the best.

"I attended my friend Reena's wedding in Luton today. When I saw the harp at first I wondered how it would fit in with a traditional Indian ceremony. But when he started playing I recognised all the songs, which are famous from Hindi films! He has obviously done his homework and he even did the famous wedding song 'Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna' from my favourite film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'! All we needed was Lata Mangeshkar to start singing! I asked 'Welly' for his card (I can't pronounce his full name!) and will be recommending him to all my friends. Thoroughly recommended."

"As soon as my friends, Chloe and Chris, mentioned that they would like me to play with a harpist at their wedding (I'm a violinist), the first person I thought to ask was Llywelyn I had the good fortune of meeting him when we were both studying for our undergraduate degrees and I knew him to be, not only a fantastic musician and harpist, but also a conscientious and professional worker. Llywelyn was extremely accommodating in their choices of repertoire - learning new pieces especially for the wedding and putting together a programme of solo harp music for the reception that delighted all of the guests. As maid of honor for the wedding, it was great to know that I could rely on Llywelyn to be in the right place at the right time with very little direction from myself. Whenever I need a harpist for any event, be it concert, wedding or party, my first choice is Llywelyn"

Catherine Lawlor (Wedding)

"I have known Llywelyn for years and would not have wanted anyone else to play the harp in our wedding. We got married in a Chapel and Llywelyn played the harp on my arrival and whilst leaving the chapel. It was stunning and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. It made the ceremony even more special. You can chose the song of your choice and Llywelyn will play it. Diolch Llywelyn x"

Gwawr Evans (Our wedding)

"I attended my friend's wedding last month in South Wales where Llywelyn was playing the harp. He played before the ceremony, during the signing of the register and then outside during the photographs (fortunately the weather was nice!). My grandmother used to be a harpist so I can appreciate great musicianship when I hear it; Llywelyn has a great sound, and knows a lot of the repertoire seemingly by heart. I am friends with the bride and I asked her how to contact him as I have other friends who are getting married and I think he would be a great addition to their day. The bride said he was such a pleasure to work with; polite, pleasant and professional at all times. I spoke to him after he finished performing to voice my approval, and we chatted about his training and experience, which is very impressive. What a lovely and talented guy I would not hesitate in recommending Llywelyn to anyone looking to get married, and indeed he would be an asset to any event or concert."

Bethan Davies (Wedding)

I was very lucky to win Llywelyn's competition in August for a featured performance. He played the harp beautifully at my parent's Diamond Wedding celebration, providing two hours of lovely music relevant to their special occasion. His harp playing made the evening extra special and my parents were delighted.
Thank you once again Llewelyn.

"Thank you so much for playing at my sister's wedding. The music was beautiful and really made the lunch special. Thanks again."
